This folder is dedicated to image objects. Objects are images which can be freely used in Axialis products. They are used to create attractive icons without drawing skills. Image Objects are simple graphical elements which are assembled together to create more complex artworks like icons, buttons, sprites and more. Image Objects permit you to be creative without drawing a single pixel. By using your mouse to drag & drop Image Objects and applying effects you can create sophisticated graphics. In the near future all Axialis products will support Image Objects.
Why Image Objects?
Graphics are among the primary ways of advertising the sale of goods or services. This is true for computing, when designing software, or creating website interfaces. However most of us are not graphic designers and we find it difficult to create attractive icons or web graphics.
The challenge is to create interesting custom icons without drawing skills. Using Image Objects is the answer.
You will use a set of Image Objects that have already been designed by a skilled computer graphic artist, and assemble them together to create a final artwork that will meet your needs. Using a set of existing image objects the possibilities are almost infinite. You can create many different icons or graphics simply by adjusting various parameters of each object like Hue (teint), Saturation, Brightess, Contrast, Size, Opacity and more.
For example, using 6 image objects from our Glossy Buttons object pack, you can easily create an attractive help icon:
Combining the Objects can be easily achieved with Axialis IconWorkshop™ using a few mouse clicks and drag-and-drops. Creating different versions of an icon is also very simple with this pack. See the examples below that show the help icons which have been produced in a few minutes by simply using the mouse, and without drawing one pixel (this is a non-exhaustive list of course!):

Quick Descriptions of the Object Packs
Object Packs are sets of Image Objects published by Axialis Software. Each pack permits to create icons on a specific theme using a particular syle. You can download the packs from Axialis website only. In this product, only set 1 is a full pack, the other ones are limited/tryout versions. You can download the full versions from this page on our website. You must download the full versions of the packs from our website, even if you have the full version of the product. You need a Genuine Axialis Product Key to download the full version of a pack.
Pack 1: "Glossy Buttons" (FREE)
A collection of 150 objects to create nice looking glossy icons. Create in seconds icons featuring various shapes, symbols, colors, shadows, inner lights, glossy effects. The objects are provided in 256x256 format with alpha channel. Read More...
Pack 2: "Realistic Buttons"
This pack is composed of 500 hi-res objects which have been designed to create icons in the style of Windows Vista™. You can easily create icons featuring various shapes, symbols, colors, shadows, inner lights, glossy effects. Using this pack you can easily create beautiful sets of buttons to be used in your projects (websites, application GUI, toolbars, dialog boxes...). With 156 symbols included and many shape effects (circle, rounded square, octagon, triangle) you can create a large variety of icons. Additionally, IconWorkshop permits you to create images at several sizes and color depth (16, 256, RGBA with alpha channel). To permit you to work faster, more than 780 ready-to-use derived symbols have been added to the pack, including effects like black emboss, black glossy, white emboss and white plastic.
